Premature ejaculation is a common male sexual dysfunction that is often associated with psychological problems. The drug dapoxetine component is the only drug approved for the treatment of premature ejaculation.
A medication called dapoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, was created specifically to treat premature ejaculation. It can improve control over the ejaculation and lengthen the ejaculation period. It begins to act quite rapidly, so rather than taking it every day, it is taken when you are about to have intimacy. It must be taken one to three hours prior to having intercourse.
Not everyone should take dapoxetine. If you get fits, have a mental illness, or experience issues with your eyes, heart, liver, or kidneys, let your doctor know. Tell doctor about all of your current drugs as well to prevent any negative effects. Children under the age of 18 and women are not supposed to take this medication.
